We are in need of having a blackout everyday between 1am and 3am for possible maintenance on the servers. Any job that is running at 1am can complete its current execution, but nothing new should fire off until 3am.

I've read this article: https://www.visualcron.c...TML/time_exceptions2.htm

However, this is not acceptable because it will require users to remember to select that exception every time a new job is created, and I can easily see that being skipped over. Additionally, we have close to 400 jobs across 4-6 servers, it is going to take a long time to roll out an update to each job to add a "Time Exception".

Please advise on the possibility to add a feature that will turn the server service on/off at specific times? If possible, an ETA would also be helpful.

Metasource,

Could this feature also answer your needs : https://www.visualcron.c....aspx?g=posts&t=7311
this would allow to trigger server on/off on a regular basis (maintenance window), and in specific situations...
