After installing 4.9.40, I get the folowing error everytime I log on:

Rebooting doesn't help. Rerunning the install after stopping the service gives me a "service already installed" error.

This is a Win2k3 x64 box. I have this installed on other x64 boxes without this issue.

I'm connected as a domain admin so permissions can't be it.

What is your installation path?

In the registry there is an item to start your tray client.

Key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

Name:
VisualCron Tray Client

Value:
should be the path to your visualcron folder and to the vctray.exe

Any strange characters in there?

Regards
Erik
Uses Visualcron since 2006.

Can you give the exact path to where you installed VisualCron and confirm that you have VCTray.exe there.

The first message image is only showed when installing but you are saying you get this every time you login into the computer?

Also, are you able to start the VCTray.exe from the VisualCron folder without errors?

Everytime any one logs in, on console or term serv, user or admin, those messages appear.

The messages appear when running the vctray.exe manually as well.

When will 4.9.55 be available - I only see 4.9.53 Beta?

Do you have a timeline for 4.9.55 release from Beta?

I killed the VC tray service - this resolved it for now.

What you can do is:

1. open the registry
2. search for VCTray.exe
3. Remove any "" around the value path
