My scenario is a bit different. When I run the job the first time, the "Set job variable" task shows "Running" when the job is completed. When I run it again, the "Set job variable" task shows "Success". However, if I repeat these steps again, it keeps toggling between showing "Running" and "Success" every other time I run the job.
See the screenshots.

I've upgraded to version 8.01 and we are seeing some strange behavior when looking at running jobs either from a remote VC client, or running on the server. See photo below.

The job shown below is set to run tasks in order, but it looks to have skipped several task, and also shows 2 tasks running at the same time. If you notice the Last Run time for all the tasks in between, they show to not have run yet today (2/12) but we know that they have run since we have the files/output of those running today.

It looks like the interface isn't updating what's running/finished running as well as not updating the last run time.

Has anyone seen this issue?

Thanks

Indeed it looks really strange. The question is why it skips. If you run it again - does it always skip the same way? Please export this Job and send to support@visualacron.com

Please re-download and re-install. This bug was introduced in 8.0.2 and related to Set Job Variable Task. Should have been fixed in latest build. Thanks for the test settings!

I've tested the latest 8.0.2 beta and the issue with the status of the Set Job Variable task is fixed now. Thanks!

I recognized an issue where the client is not updating properly.
When I move a job to a different group (either with drag and drop or by editing the job) it doesn't update the client. The job is still visible in the old group.
To have the client updated I will need to disconnect and reconnect to the server or close and reopen the client
