It would be nice to reset a job as the fist task of a job.

Can you elaborate on this please, there is already a reset job option on the right click menu, you want the ability to do that in an automated way? (for example within a task of the job itself)

I need to be able to reset a Job's output and output(error) fields. This needs to happen from within the Job. If I have task that I skip based on some critera, I do not want to see the output from a previous running of a job.
