When creating/amending SQL connections, is it possible to hide the password and not present it in plain text.

No, that would be hard for several reasons. I suggest that you limit the Read permission for the users that should not see it.

Hello,

We've experienced the same issue and would like to see this as a feature implemented as well. Due to strict legal requirements some application accounts shouldn't be accessible to end users.
