Hi,

I have set up a web macro and attached are the steps being followed. When I test the steps within the task it runs successfully in around half a minute. However when I execute the task as part of the job the process gets stuck in running. The last run was going well over an hour before I stopped it.

Any ideas what is happening here?

Thanks

Maybe the source page has changed. Have you selected a Credential in the Task?

By source page do you mean the url being opened? If so this hasn't changed as far as I know?

What is a credential and how do you select it?

Apologies i'm new to web macros.

In order to use the download action and save something to a network drive you need to select a Credential that download window. Double click on the Download action and you will see it.

Understood. Yes I did select a credential for the download.

Any other thoughts on what could be causing the issue?

Is it an official/public url?

Can you reproduce it if you re-record again?

I started again and re-recorded the steps and still had the same issue.

I'm not sure if it is a public url, however if I am able to run the process within the task shouldn't that mean that the url is accessible via Visualcron?

I am just asking if we can try it from here. If we can reach the url you could export the Job and send to support@visualcron.com

I tried to export the job but I have come across another issue now. My export failed and I got a message to check the log. I went to the log folder on the c drive but can't find anything that points to the export I tried to do (see screen shots below).

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks for all your help on this.

Maybe you have some kind of write permission errors. Try exporting it to other location.

Issue has been resolved through email. There was a problem saving to the target folder (probably due to invalid Credential settings).
