Is there a way to upgrade from to 4.9.40 to 4.9.58 as the automatique liveupdate force us to migrate to 5.x.xx ?

Versions between 4.9.40. are considered beta and not available for production release.

No, it is not possible. We only tell about the changes made for each version. But even if you could that is still a beta version and not for production.
