What is the exact issue? When you create a VMWare Connection you select if you want to use VIX protocol or vSphere. Just select vSphere.

The page you send looks like a time issue, i am certain it is not...
If it was we would had some major issues....

Could it be some proxy settings? Have you updated proxy settings in the Server tab->Settings?

Is it possible you could check the server logs of that vCenter server as it mentions in the exception?

I cannot seem to get the vmware service to connect.. Using vCenter 6.7 as VCA on ESXi, tried both domain name and ip address.. Always end up with error 7777.
Did install VIX API 1.3

Any reason for 7777?

Also this comes up if I click on VMX path:

Hi,

Please downgrade to version 1.15 as that is currently the highest version we support. We are currently in the process of upgrading that so you can use a newer vix api, but for now 1.15 is the latest working vix
