We just upgraded to 9.0.0, and pretty much everything seems fine, except that Object search is slower than it used to be. The screen freezes for a while berefore returning the result. Not a big deal, but can support check if you see the same?

Thanks for the feedback on this.

We're in the process of managing this along with other things to work in the background instead, maing the search smoother and easier. It shouldn't be too long until this will be in a new version. But i can't give you an exact date at the moment

Thanks. Getting it off the ui thread will definitely help, but it seems also as if the actual search itself is slower. as if somebody dropped an index by mistake or something. Anyways, no hurry on this one. It's not critical

FYI we do not using Indexes but just traverse through all the objects. The more Task types the more objects. The more Jobs the more objects. So yes, it is probably a bit slower for each version but it depends on the speed of the Client computer.

We will, as mentioned, make the search in background, on the Server itself which will at least make the experience better.
