Seems like some kind of strange state (maybe due to some Windows update) has occured. Have you tried just restarting the VisualCron service (the remote)?

Are you able to restart the machine itself? Because this just seems like a temporary state.

Please stop the VisualCron service, delete the log file. Start the VisualCron service. Try to connect with the client for 2 minutes, then send us the log file so we can see if there is anything else interesting. Also, please upgrade to 5.7.8. if possible.

Try the following:

1. On the server - stop the VisualCron service
2. On the server - start the VisualCronService.exe manually from the installation folder by double clicking
3. On the client - try to connect now

If this work it is a certificate problem and you need to reboot the server once.

We have created a small tool for you. Please try the following:

1. stop the VisualCron service
2. download http://neteject.com/down...sualCron/CertCleaner.zip
3. decompress the file on the drive
4. open a cmd window and move to that location and run CertCleander.exe
5. check so that output does not contain any errors
6. start the VisualCron service
7. now try connecting again

Dear support,

The tool work in my cloned UAT enviroment.
Can you explain more before I can deploy the fix to my production?
What the tool did? What 2 cert were deleted and created?

The two certs that are being deleted with this app is created by VisualCron in the first place (at startup if they does not exist).

The certificates is used for securing the SSL server.

We have reason to believe, that in your case, the SYSTEM account did not have sufficient privileges to create the certificates fully. That is why we want you do run the service in interactive mode (from desktop).
