Hi Support,

we upgraded yesterday VC from 6.0.6 to 6.1.0 on our Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition.

Unfortunatlly we have now a real problem with the file trigger function on network shares. That doesn’t work anymore. If we use a local folder (eg. C:\Temp) everything works fine. There is no job/task log.

Help us b/c it’s our productive system and we need this function very, very often.

Ok, then it is related to Credentials. Is a Credential selected in this Task?

1. Is it a domain Credential or not?
2. if you edit the Credential is "Local logon" and "Load profile" checked?

Try unchecking local in this case.

Unchecked Local = no success
Unchecked both = no success

1. if you use the List files Task on that both (with that Credential) - does it work?
2. what operative system is the local and remote system?

1. yes, List files works fine. Doublecheck: If I remove credentials I got no result, if I set credentials I got a result.
2. Local system is Windows Server 2003 Standard -> remote system is in that case Windows server 2008 and 2003 we more different sevrers.

Just to confirm, what is the actual error?

If I want to trigger a file on a network share, nothing happens. No task will start, no error message, no logs, nothing.

This sounds very strange and we need to see this in in action. We have emailed you details about screen sharing.
