Hi,

I am trying to Export/import settings

1. After exporting the settings on my local machine, how would i import it on Test Server using visual cron client on my local machine?

Visual Cron Client on local machine - Import Settings is always pointing to my local system, how would i select TEST SERVER. (I can see variables and other stuff of TestServer from visual cron client on local machine).

I would like to import settings on TEST SERVER from Visual Cron Client on my Local Machine.

2. After logging to Test Server - When i try to import the file i am getting a error.

From Log file i found is the following -

Error occured when importing settings, err: Invalid archive: open/read error! Is it encrypted and a wrong password was provided?
If your archive is an exotic one, it is possible that SevenZipSharp has no signature for its format and thus decided it is TAR by mistake.

3.How to schedule a job 3 times a day.

For example a job should run at 8.30 AM, 2.45 PM, 5.45 PM

Can you please help on this.

Thanks,
Swapna.

You are doing it the right way but it seems like you use different versions of Client and Server (on the two servers) or that you have manually zipped files instead of using the File->Export.

You see the Client version in title bar of main window. You see the Server version if you open Server tab->Server info->Server.

The problem was resolved. The file was 0 bytes. We did not investigate this further because user were able to specify another folder (custom). Could be some kind of anti-virus triggering and preventing file - not sure.
