Hi Support

I have a question - Is it possible to set up trigger constraints, perhaps with the new 'Dependencies' options, so that it will only trigger between specific times?

For example, I have a main POP3 Email trigger which looks for a particular email subject string in order to trigger a Job.

However, I only want this trigger to be active Monday through to Friday, AND I only want it to activate between the hours of 08:00 and 10:00. From what I can tell this alone can be achieved with the Custom Time trigger?

Even better, would be to send a Notification email IF the Trigger does NOT activate within these constraints (i.e. after 10:00 am send a warning email that a trigger has not activated).

Is this possible and am I just being silly and missing the most obvious thing?

Cheers

Andy

In your case you would need to set the Time trigger to trigger every second.

The problem with this is that the time condition could be met yesterday and the event today. So, this will not be reliable with current way.

I think you are better of just using a Time exception on the hours that you do not want it to execute.

Hi Henrik

On the time exceptions, can I then just set the Days to be Saturday and Sunday, and the hours to be between 10 am and 7 am (which means it will execute monday to friday, and between 7 am and 10 am)?

This will prevent 7AM to 10AM on Saturday and sunday only. So it will execute on Saturday and Sunday outside of the specified time.

You need two Time exceptions in the Time exception set. One that prevents Saturdays and Sundays totally and the other one 7AM to 10AM (for weekdays).
