So I have this weird problem from time to time, wondering if anyone else has this as well. I believe the Server had shutdown whilst a job was running and when the server and VC service came back online, the job is now holding the "Running" status (as well as the task it was running), but its not actually doing anything.

In fact, the result of said task is "Success" and I can see it when it runs go down through the tasks and still leaves the one task in this particular status after it completes.

Now, whats worse in this situation was that the job was not running on its normal timer until I manually did a "Run Job" on it once. After that, it seemed to run ok but the status was still messed up.

I tried a reset of the job, restarting the server, reconnecting the client, inactivating task and reactivating to no avail.

The ONLY way I was able to get it working again was to clone the job and delete the old one. Not ideal, but was able to get it working.

I am not worried so much about the status not updating as having to manually run it once to get the timer to work again.

Thoughts?

This is what Im talking about...

A job with 3 tasks.

No tasks are running, job shows as "Running".

A job with 11 tasks.

A task shows as "Running" (but its not) and Job shows as "Waiting".
