We use the sharepoint tasks to upload to a Sharepoint 2010 server.

This works fine for files up to 3 megeabyte, but over this we get a 400 message.

We can not find any settings on the server that should have this limit, and
uploading the files manually works fine.

Could it be a limit in the sharepoint tasks?

Hi

I bump this with a hope that somone with a SP2010 could test this against, and
give me a clue to where the problem is.

Hi Henrik

We can upload any large files using the upload tool from SP or
using webDav mounts. It is only the SP tasks in VC that stops files
over 3 meg.

So, any limits in the SP library that you ar using? Or any buffer that is set
to small?

Hi Henrik

I will try this version as soon as you can fix the installer. Any chance you could
have a look at it in the near future?

Hi Henrik

This version installed, and uloads also the "big" files, but trows an 7777 error, complaing that
the list does not exist, but the file is uloaded anyhow. A bit confusing...

The server url is like this:

http://fqnservername/jobbhjelp

and the folder like this:

/Dagens Avis

And the error is:

Exception in Task: Listen jobbhjelp finnes ikke på området med URL-adressen http://fqnsrvername/jobbhjelp.
(norwegian os on my PC, sorry)

Try this as server url: http://fqnservername

Then use the built in browser for finding the relative path.

I will have to find out what it is with this SP site, because I can not browse to
the directory in the browser, it will not show up. The only way I can acsess is by
putting it in the server configuration. Then i can use the browser se the subdirs
of this directory.

I can get around the problem by turning off the error raising on the task, so i will
try this build in production next week.

Hi Henrik

The SP site use subsites, so in this case the /jobbhjelp is a subsite. But the VC browser do
not show subsites, only lists, so the missing support for this is probably also the reason for the error
messages......?

You should just have to create a new Connection with the subsite address.

Yes, I do just that, fqnserver/subsitename , but the error message say that the LIST subsitename is not found. It is not a list, it is a subsite.

It is important that it is not the name, but url. In my test I hade another url than name.

Hi Henrik

I will send you an e-mail with screenshots, then we can try to find out why this works for you, and not me...
