My Visualcron stops working whenever there is a new update available. how can i get around this issue?

Could you be more detailed about the problem? What does the server logs say?

It comes up with a window that says

Checking for new version
status: New version available.

when this window is open the scheduled services in visualchron to not run.

i would like to stop the automatic updates or let it download automatically. because what is happening now isw visualchron stops working when this update window comes up.

Hi Mark,

We haven't encountered your exact issue, but we certainly have the automatic update check switched off on all our servers as they don't have internet access (and we don't want the local client on the server if used doing this check).

We periodically check for updates ourselves and do structured rollouts using a single install file downloaded once. Client and Server. We don't want ad-hoc pulls of the install files.

Ok, we have not heard about if it stops execution during that time - we will test this. There is no automatic download but you can of course download it from the site as well.
