We have found an issue when listing an FTP root containing a large number of files (5000+).

Browsing the FTP using Explorer will result in a "Fatal Error" box and you will need to restart VC client.

Running a task with a timeout of 900 seconds will run until you stop it and leave the output below.
Doing the same thing with Filezilla takes a couple of seconds.

Unfortunately I cannot do that. After further investigation it shows that there are 200 000+ files on the server. Extending the timeout to 30 minutes resolved the issue.
The reason Filezilla works fine is because Filezilla don't list all files, it only lists about 5000 files.

Would it be possible to add a feature to configure a maximum number of files to list?
On a connection level that is.
