We are testing a new installation of VC. We have imported our jobs from a prior version of VC.

When choosing the option to 'Run Job' the job executes 2-3-4 times for no apparent reason.

Just to have the complete picture here, which version did you import from and which version are you using at the moment.
And what is your operating system.

Also, to confirm that the Job really runs so many times - please open the Job log and confirm that it run so many times on a very short interval.

We upgraded from a 7.1 install to a 7.2 install. Moved the jobs via export/import. Yes, the job log shows that it runs multiple times within seconds.

There is only a couple of things that can do this:

1. you use a Condition or Flow that re-runs the Job
2. there is another Trigger in the background re-running it

Please look at the log file, it might explain what is happening.
