I have a directory where a bunch of files arrive during each day, and I need to select the most recent one (by creation time). I've tried using List File(s), but I'm a bit stumped on how to properly set up the date filter.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

This is something we have planned to add generally in the file filter:

1. limit number of results, let say 1.
2. sorting on the result on modified, created or alphabetically

If you have any other suggestions please reply to this post. I am know moving it to Feature requests forum.

I think it would do well as options under "Output settings", with options for "Limit output to (x) results" and "Order output by [file name, size, creation time, etc,.. basically any file attribute]"

Yes we would also like a list by created date/modified date, ideally with a filter (so you could list only files created today for example). One other potential filter/sort by option would be created by.

You can already filter this now. So the filter works. Now we are are only talking about the output.
