There is a problem with converting dates in Excel to csv using the 'Excel Convert' job type.

In 6.1.5 it used to convert the dates to a integer. (an OADate if you will) However between 6.1.5 and 8.0.2 the handling of dates has been changed. It now seems to try to export them as a string, presumably using the format of the original cell. However it doesn't appear to work all the time. Some styles are begin converted to strings that are of no use.

I created an Excel sheet with today's date and various formats and converted it using 8.0.2. Attached are the results.

Converting yyyy-mm-dd is really strange as Visual Cron exports this as 2016-00!

It seems like the format in your Excel file contains a lot of junk characters but we have tried to clean it up. Please test this version:

You'll have to take that up with Microsoft!

Installed the beta 8.0.3, things look better, but its still malformed.

For example '29 00' and 'Monday' in the output file below.
