I am wondering what the connection timeout setting is used for.

I initially had it set to the default value of 60 and it would timeout when running a remote script that ran for more than a few minutes.

I have not had it timeout since setting the value to 2000.

Is the unit for this setting in milliseconds?

What is waiting the timer waiting for?

Are you talking about login settings? This is max time that VisualCron waits for Connect + Sync of objects.
