I have jobs with several tasks (copy files, encrypt files, SQL Queries, ftp, email). When I go in and change the order they run in they don't show up in that order on the main screen when you expand the job. Is there a setting I am missing?

Yes, you probably do not have the right sorting in your main window. Add the Order column in List->Set columns. The click on the header to sort. To sort multiple headers hold down shift and click.
