Hi,

I've set up a Trigger to monitor an IMAP4 Email Inbox Folder for emails with a specific subject line - if received it should download the attachment and delete the email from the inbox.

The job triggers and deletes the email but the file is not downloaded to our internal directory - have double checked file path and also tried to download to desktop - what is causing the file not to be downloaded?

  Trigger Settings.docx (199kb) downloaded 190 time(s).

Cheers,
Tom

I think the problem is that you save to a network path. Have you selected a Credential in the Trigger?

Hi Henrik,

I have selected a credential in the trigger and it has the permission to save the file to that network path.

Cheers,
Tom

Hi Henrik,

Is there anything else you recommend i change or test to get this trigger working correctly?

To rule out any Credential problems I would set no Credential and a local path. If that works we can discuss more about network path.

I've set the trigger to no credential and a local path (Desktop) but it hasn't worked (Email read & deleted but attachment not saved)- Does this indicate a credential problem?

Desktop path might be locked with permissions - can you try another folder?

If that still fails please enable Extended debugging in Server settings->Log. Then send us the log_serverDATE.txt after new email has arrived. Let us know the Job name. Please send to support@visualcron.com

The problem was a missing * in the attachment filter.
