Hi,

Could you explain how the messenger task works? Should I know the IP address of the messenger server?? Please give me an example.

Regards
Erik

No, no IP is needed. You need two accounts. A sender and a receiver account. The sender account is defined with login information in Connections. Then you just specify the user of the receiver in the Task.

Are you using proxy? Also, have these accounts added each other as friends?

hmm, I think I should use a proxy... and yes they are friends of eachother.
I will try again with a proxy setting.

I did fill in the proxy and now I do not get the error anymore. The task is running for one hour now, so I think something is wrong here. Could be the proxy not letting this request pass...
I can't stop this task, so I had to restart the VC service for this to happen.

I might need to test this in a different environment.

In the drop down combobox where you can select a connection type, the 1st 5 ftp types don't have an icon in front. If you do add one of them, there is an icon there in the connection list for the just added connection.

😲 I was borred...

We currently have no debug info but we will add that for next release. Thank you for your tests so far.
