Hello.

I upgraded Visualcron from 8.2.9 to 8.3.6.
After the upgrade I got a problem connecting to a counterpart via sFTP with Open SSH authorization.

17:11:22: Algorithm: RSA, bits: 1024
17:11:23: Authentication type 'keyboard-interactive' failed
17:11:23: Authentication type 'public key' failed
17:11:23: SFTP error 114
17:11:23: Server software name: 'OpenSSH_5.5'
17:11:23: EncryptionAlgorithmClientToServer: 'aes256-cbc'
17:11:23: EncryptionAlgoritmServerToClient: 'aes256-cbc'
17:11:23: MacAlgorithmClientToServer: 'hmac-sha1'
17:11:23: MacAlgorithmServerToClient: 'hmac-sha1'
17:11:23: KexAlgorithm: 'diffie-hellman-group1-sha1'
17:11:23: Connection lost due to error 10058

The counterpart says that I cannot use the MACAlgorithms hmac-sha1 and the KEXAlgorithm diffie-hellman-group1-sha1.
I have tried to uncheck those algorithms from the settings in the connection configuration, but it doesn't seem to go through.

I am not convinced though, that this is the problem. Since it worked before upgrading Visualcron and not after.
Have you got any idea's on how to solve this?

If you need more information, please get back to me.

/Jesse

It seems to fail earlier in the authentication. Are you using public key auth or password?

Please set up filezilla side by side from that server. Turn on verbose logging and send the log file to support@visualcron.com

Hello Henrik.

I am using public key.
I think I solved the problem, though, by doing a brute force test.

I will get back to you if I need more help.
Thank you for quick response.
