I have a job A with some tasks. Someone jobs will be triggered if job A or only one task in job A are finished.

I want the possibility to start one task in job A without startig dependent jobs.

Sorry for the late answer. Not sure what you are after.

1. You want to start a single Task only but not following Tasks?
2. When do you want to start it?

I know how to start a single task within some tasks. That isn't the problem.
I have 2 jobs A and B. If job A ends it triggers job B.
I don't want to start job B when anyone task in job A is started directly.
If job A is trigger for job B then the trigger should work only if job A was started and not a single task in job A.

I see, to put in short you don't want VisualCron Triggers to Trigger when a Job or Task is being run manually?

If I start a job manually then it's ok if after ending the job another job is triggered.

But if I start a task manually then no job should be triggered.

Hi, we are keeping this as a feature request. We have no time plan right now for this as we have a lot of other items in the queue.

Hi,

did this feature request get a higher priority after waiting for one year?
Maybe you could publish a list of feature requests and the member could vote for? The requests with most votes, maybe the first ten, should get the highest priority.

I agree that a voting system would be nice and that may be something for the future. Right now we are doing a mix of listening to end users and put some new, strategic features.

When we develop new features based on user requests we evaluate the following:

1. how many existing users would be interested in this?
2. how many new users would be interested in this?
3. how much time does the feature take to develop?
4. are we able to keep backward compatibility?
5. how will it affect the user interface, will it make it easier to configure things or complicate things more?

Right now we have evaluated this as:

1. few
2. few
3. unsure, but it is affecting core functionality so there is a risk changing stuff here
4. new client is needed, new server is needed
5. unsure

This results in nice to have feature but with currently low priority compared to other things like:

1. task logging
2. task looping
3. wcf execution
4. etc.

When we have done the features that we found most important we will go through all requests here and evaluate them again.

I hope this answer give you some insight of the situation and we are sorry for the previous "no reply".

(Bumping a VERY old post because of the implementation)

I just wanted to let you know that we've implemented this now in our latest 9.3.0 beta build which you can download here: https://www.visualcron.c....aspx?g=Posts&t=9989
