I am getting this error when trying to run a 2008 SQl SSIS package.

Unhandled exception in Task: Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {E44847F1-FD8C-4251-B5DA-B04BB22E236E} failed due to the following error: 80040154.

It fails no matter what selection i choose, File or SQl Server.

I recommend testing version 5 as it should contain libraries for SQL server 2008.

Can i have a side by side installation of each version?

Yes and no, but version 5 installation will:

1. try to import settings from version 4 (and convert) so make a backup before.
2. disable VisualCron 4 service (you can only have one service running at a time at the same port number)

Maybe a stupid question, but you are running VisualCron on the same machine as SQL server right?

We have not forgot this issue. It is just that it takes time as get the right environment for this. Meanwhile I recommend that you add you add the SSIS as a Job in the Server and execute the Job from VisualCron instead of using SSIS Task.

Thanks for the update. Actually i am running the SSIS packages through the command line using the dtexec. Works perfect.
