This morning, serveral of our jobs failed because they could not copy files from Sharepoint Online to a local drive. These jobs had been running without issue since they were set up. It was discovered by our IT department that the issue was caused because the
Apps that don't use modern authentication setting was set to
Block access.
After setting it to
Allow access, as suggested in the troubleshooting section of the
documentation , the jobs worked again.
However, as of
october 2022 , MS wil no longer allow this option.
Are there any plans for Modern Authentication support for Sharepoint Online connections? If so, when might we expect this?
