Upgraded to 9.9.9 over the weekend and now my client work box will not connect to the VisualCron server says it is offline or not running but I am actually on the VisualCron server proper and connected with the client. Nothing has changed except the upgrade.

Hi,

Please provide screenshots and details and send to support@visualcron.com
Also, if you're connecting via AD, see if you can connect via an internal account, like the default admin account on the server or just create a new temporary one

In the logs does it say Compacting Database or something like that?
If so, this can take a while depending on the size of it. In our case it can take up to an hour.

I am having a very similar problem after the upgrade. If I reboot the server and start VC everything is fine, but when I check it later in the day I get the message that it can't connect to the server and it asks if I'd like to retry. If I select yes it just keeps saying it can't connect. The only thing that fixes the issue is a reboot and it's only temporary. I tried the 10.0 beta as well and I'm seeing the same problem.

Hi,

If you are still having issues with this, please send an email to support@visualcron.com with attached log_server*Date* (enable extended server debugging in server settings) from the Log folder. Also provide details on how many clients you have connected to the server and any other environmental information that could be relevant.
