Hello Visual Cron Team,

We have purchased Visual Cron license version and after upgrading Visual Cron to server version 5.7.5 (Build Version 39316). We are getting "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error while trying to connect to the Remote machine where Visual Cron license version is installed.

Error Description:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at frmMain2.GKCAJCNDLPPNDAENEIAIAIEOKOJGHJEEHLCG(Server& , JobClass )
at frmMain2.OFJCOOCGCFNAMNAFEJHAJMBNENGOEFCGLAHF(Server& , JobClass )

Yes we are able to connect locally. But, from local to server (remote) it's not working.

Could be a problem with different version on Client and Server. Could you please confirm the version number when you right click on the local "VisualCronClient.exe" and the remote "VisualCronClient.exe". That we are talking about the same version.

We are using File version 5.7.5.39316 for VisualCronClient.exe.

I just want to make sure the exact version of PROD server. You answer opens up for that you only checked the local VisualCronClient.exe version and not the one on the PROD server.

All the machines carries the upgraded version of Visual Cron. Below are the details for the same:

Server Version : 5.7.5
Build Version : 39316

Could you zip the settings folder of the PROD machine and send it to support@visualcron.com. We want to make sure that no error exist in those files.

After sending the file you could try to restart the VisualCron service on prod to see if that makes a difference.
