I have two jobs that basically do the same thing - they copy files using Robocopy (Execute.) Both have several tasks that copy various files. Both have at least one task fail every day (not the same task on each job, but the same task fails every day.) The error in the task is:

Exception in Task: Could not find the specified Connection for Foreground execution

One is copy this location:

C:\Users\keithdavis\Documents\SQL

The other, this location:

c:\Users\keithdavis

If I run either of these jobs manually the next day, after I have manually unlocked the desktop, it works fine. Neither are set to unlock, but no other task fails in the job.

I just looked and a third job with one task is failing. Same error (runs MyDefrag.)

Please try version 5.5.0. We have fixed issues for 64 bit systems.

I received this same error in 6.0.3. Did you ever find a cause?

Did you reboot since install?

Have you disabled UAC?

Are you trying to execute on a specific session or any session?

6.0.3 has been installed for awhile. I updated to 6.0.4 though this morning after noticing the error.

UAC is off.

It's set to run on "any" foreground session.

False alarm. I found out someone had restarted the computer without relogging in.
