We have a job which we use for sending emails to our user base for one of our applications when there is something to note with the system. The users can update their own email addresses which sometimes leads to errors in the email address in the database.

The task that extracts the email address is a very simple one and so does no real error checking on the validity of the email address and consequently we get error reports from the SMTP server (501's). This then causes the task to stop completely leaving some end users not getting the email. HAs anyone dealt with this situation and how do you get the process to effectively skip the error and send the next email in the list?
