Hi, our VisualCron installation is currently hosted on a virtual machine on Windows 10. We need to migrate this to be hosted on a new virtual machine (Windows 11) because Windows 10 is EOL at the end of this year.
Is it possible to run the installations in parallel while we migrate jobs across and test? We don't want to risk a hard switch-over, but we also don't want to purchase an additional licence.
Thanks

Hi Julian

Did you get a response from VisualCron around this issue?

We have a simular task.

We need to migrate our visualcron jobs from 3 running MS production servers to 3 new MS servers.
To ensure a minimal downtime we want export jobs in batches to ensure availability. When migration is done we will of cause move the licenses to the new servers.

The response from support is that we need to buy 6 licenses in total and they will not provide any "free" licenses in the migration period.
What is your view on that?, i must say that this way of handling customers comes as a big surprise.

I fact i have never in my IT career met this kind of license madness!!

Thanks
Rasmus
