I'm sure that I am being stupid but I have a problem deleting some subfolders of a particular folder. I have a folder in which some subfolders are created by another job. Once the data in these subfolders has been processed I wish to remove the data files AND the subfolders.

Using the delete file task on the top level folder and specifying the "Include subfolders" removes all of the data files but leaves the empty subfolders behind. The names of the subfolders are different each run so I tried using the delete folder option with an * but that complained about an illegal character.

I don't really want to delete and recreate the top level folder as this will mess up permissions on the folder.

I'm sure there's a way to do this but at the moment I can't work out how!

No, we do not delete sub folders. But we could add an option to delete if they are empty. Moving it to feature requests.
