Hi Support

I keep getting the 'Error - checking for a new version' dialogue everytime I start VC client or when I try to manually check for updates.

I realise it is a Proxy/Firewall issue, but as far as I am aware, I have defined the proxy details correctly. Is there a particular port that has to be opened? What 'exe' do I assign to the firewall to gain access?

VisualCron is trying to access port 80 on www.visualcron.com .

Maybe the proxy server type is not fully supported but it sounds strange as we are accessing just like a webbrowser do.

Okay - seems like it was a Corporate firewall issue, and not just a problem with the local firewall. All is resolved now.
