I have been using Visual Cron for several years now starting with one of the early 4.x days, and I've been running it on true Microsoft clusters using conditions to see if the fail-over node I need is active on the physical host.

Today I noticed a little check box in the server setup called "Is installed in a Clustered Environment". I went ahead and checked it on both Visual Cron installs on the cluster, but it did not seem to change the behavior in any way.

Does anyone know what this check box actually does?

It is handling license differently on clustered machines. But if you dot not have any license problems you should let it be.
