Hello.

I want to manage the execusion of my SQL Job with Visual Cron, but when I use the task SQL and chose Job query, the task start and directly return "Success" without wait her to finish.

I found 2 question in the forum about this witout answer:

Hi,

we do normally not watch the forum "Feature requests" for questions. Only the second link is relevant to this post.

Waiting for SQL job completion is complex because it is by default not supported. If enough people are interested we will look at this and workaround this.

I've got several jobs running that take anywhere from several seconds to several minutes.
The subsequent tasks don't run until the SQL task completes.
I run SQL tasks that report on the changes the main SQL jobs made to the database and attach these reports to emails that get sent out at the end of all my jobs.
I've not had any issues with this.

In this case we talk about the specific "SQL Job". Not SQL Text or SQL stored procedure.
