You are running a very old version. I recommend rebooting computer or upgrading to the latest version.

I had the same issue the other day and i am running the current 6.1.2 version. I could export my settings and attach that if you would like but I'm not sure what caused the error, Cron seems to be working fine. But I had to stop the visualCron service and kill the process in process explorer before i could restart it and not get the connection error.

Still not sure what is causing this trouble, so far I have only seen this problem on one of several servers.

You say crash. What kind of crash?

Can you login with remote connection method instead (but local by writing computer name - do not use 127.0.0.1 as ip)?
