Hi Support

I have a Remote File Trigger Job set up with an Email Notification to be sent only in the event of an error, however, as can be seen from the attached screenshots, the job completed succesfully yet the error notification email was still sent out.

I have checked the Server logs and there was no indication of an error at all during the Remote File trigger or the download process, which is all thsi job does.

Any ideas why the notification might have been sent out?

My guess is that you have it checked in other place (perhaps Task level) at completion. You can use the Object relations window to find out.

Hi Henrik

The Job has only one task (Fetch Files) and there is no notification on this - it is only on the Job Level I have it defined.

I have notifications on other jobs, one of which was cloned from this job. What is odd is that if I change the notification email on Job 'A' it is also changed in Job 'B', so it looks as if two completely seperate jobs with seperate notifications are 'sharing' the Notification definition.

IS that possible?

Can you reproduce this by creating a clone of first Job into a new Job? If so, how to you clone it exactly?

Okay, sorry - my misunderstanding. I beleived the notification was applied at a single job level but it is a generic list of notifications selectable by all jobs which confused me, so issue solved.

Any news on the notification/pop-up enhancements?

Popup is in-progress. Slightly delayed by some Sharepoint Tasks.
