Hello we are seeing a problem where an execute task it calling a program which then makes subsequent calls to other scripts or batch files and once the original task reaches a timeout then we are seeing the sub tasks become orphaned and have to be killed manually in process explorer. Has this issue been addressed before and are there solutions for it? Thanks.

Yes, this is a known problem. This worked before until we found that on some systems it could led to crashes. The reason for this is still unknown. So, currently this is work in progress until we have found out the real reason.
