I would like to have a variable that will tell me how & who triggered a job .

In my scenario, I have a job that multiple people can execute. The last step of the job is to send a job completion email. I would like to be able to indicate if the job was started based upon the time trigger, or manually started by a user. If a user, which user.

I would like see not only time trigger but what trigger started it e.g. another job, an email etc

When the job is run by a trigger, I believe you can already use {TRIGGER(Active|LastTrigger|Desc)} and similar variables. I agree that it would be nice to be able to extract "this was run manually by the following logged-in user" though.
