Is there a way to format the SQL Output of a task within the Text of an email message? Right now the sql Output is set to Tab delimited so when i choose the variable and place it in the email text, the text message is not lined up so it is readable to the recipient. I want to be able to create a fixed width delimiter.

It depends what you mean by readable and what format you want. You can replace tab with any character with the substring replace Variable.

Hi,

Here is what we are doing with Preformatted Output to get Email Output to respect the layout.

It is using standard HTML Tags to stop the email client (in our case MS Outlook) from kludging the format with its own font.

If you don't / can't use HTML email format then it will be difficult . . . .

Please see attached screen prints.

Hope this helps.

Thanks KJDavie, you got me started on the right path. I just needed to tweak a couple things on my side and now works great.
