I configured a new task to download from a sFTP site to which I have access, Protocol Type SFTP (SSH - SecureShell) but when I try to execute the task I get the following error message. I'm able to access and download from that folder on the sFTP using WinSCP.

Unable to change folder to: /test, err: SFTP component not connected
Failed to get folder content from folder: /test, err: SFTP component not connected

Thank you in advance.

I guess something else, more interesting error occurs before. Do you get other errors when testing it in the FTP/SFTP explorer?

here the sequence:

Authentication succeeded
Connection opened
VShell_3_8_3_292 VShell
Retrieving file list for: /
Failed to retrieve file list: SFTP component not connected

We could test from here what is going from. Please share information and connection details to support@visualcron.com. Hopefully we will find then what the problem is.

Hi,
as you can imagine I would not like to share connection details for a system used to exchange private data, can you please provide further troubleshooting actions I can do for you ?

I was thinking that you could create and supply a test account - maybe not the actual credentials you use.

This error is usually due to connection settings. I do not know what kind of authentication you do but it could be a certificate problem.

You should also try to alter the settings in the Encryption tab.

Dear Support,
I just sent you an e-mail containing the details for a guest account you can use to test the connection.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Resolved by changing the SFTP version used by VisualCron in the Connection.
