I really need some help to figure out what's wrong.

We currently run VisualCron 6.2.2, I created an sFTP connection there, it works perfectly, no issues at all.

server key received, fingerprint is e5xxxxxxxxxxxx
Authentication succeeded
ConectionThread->After Open (5)
9.99 sshlip: 7.5.1.0
Retrieving file list for:/xxxxxxx

On my new server, the one I am migrating to, I am running the trial version of 7.1.1

When I create the same sFTP connect there, and attempt to connect, I get the following error:

Server key recieved, fingerprint is e5xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Authentication type 4 failed
SFTP error 114
SBSimpleSftp/EEISimpleSFTPClientError: Connection lost (error code is 10058)

I have double checked the username and password are correct. I have attempted this with multiple accounts, on both instances of visualcron, with the same results, the connection on the new server fails where the connection on my existing server works correctly.

I have even created new test accounts on the old server, with the same settings as on the new server, and the old server connects with no issue while the new server fails.

Please help.

Are you using public key or password authentication on the old server?

Try unchecking "Auto authentication" along with unchecking "Keyboard authentication".

Using password authentication on the old server.

I have unchecked Auto authentication and Keyboard Authentication, with the same results.

Then, most likely, the password is wrong. Perhaps you can verify that against SFTP server log?

I have verified I am using the correct password. I even copied and pasted it from the same text file on the old server as the new server. Old server connects with no issue, new server fails to connect.

Is it possible that we can test against your server? Please email support@visualcron.com

I've corrected the username and am still getting the same error. I originally copied and pasted the username and password from the same text file into both the old server and the new server. I must have transposed two characters in the username on the new server in my attempts to fix it, but I have put it back to correct and am still getting the same error.

Ok, lets continue the discussion on email. Because both when I corrected and in your new file it works.
