Hi, I recently updated from VC 5.7.4 to VC 7.1.2 and we are having a problem with the Delete Folder task.

After a server restart, or a restart of the VisualCron service, the Base folder field in the Delete Folder task is empty. I am using this function to remotely delete a folder from one of our servers, but after restarting the service we get the following error:

Err Exception in Task: The path is not of a legal form.

When I go into the task to verify the path to be deleted, the Base folder field path is now empty.

I updated the Base path field and re-ran the job and it completed successfully. However, to test I stopped the VisualCron service and restarted and when back to the Delete folder task and the Base folder field was empty again.

Any ideas?

Hi Matt,

thank you for the report. This has been fixed in upcoming 7.1.4. To resolve this now you need to delete the Task and enter it again and it should not happen again.
