I have a job variable "TempFileName" set to {FILE(GetRandomFileName)}. I want to make reference to this file via the variable in multiple tasks in the same job. But each time I access the variable I get a new value. Is there a way to freeze the value?

Store it in a User Variable using the Set Variable Task. Check "Translate to constant in that Variable. Then refer to that User variable instead.
