Hi,
I'm new to VisualCron version 7 and can't get AD logon to work.
When opening the client, a logon window appears and I add my AD credentials which fails with the error "login failed, no such user exist on server".
In settings|users/logon tab I have added the domain controller and added credentials in the box next to the right.
In User permissions I first added a AD group (which did not work) and then my AD account in the Users tab, but still no luck.
How to get this to work/what is missing ??
thanks.

- Go to Server settings->Log->Check extended debugging.
- Try to logon
- Check the log_ServerDATE.txt for errors

Err Login failed, using user name 'xxxxxx' (658684da-ef96-41cd-a73f-45cbd81cdbb7) - No such user.

A funny thing - when logon using the admin account, this line appears in the log:
Err Login failed, using user name 'admin' (8b6f74f8-f9b9-44fe-93cc-9fce5b460697) - Wrong password

but further down this line appears:
Info User "VisualCron Default Admin" (admin) - Logged in successfully through IPC (b315daa5-bb61-48da-b512-39187d3fbe22)

Must be more information in the log? Perhaps you need a Credential for accessing AD?

Do you get wrong password in log each time after succesful logon with admin account?

The trick is to enable "Use Active Directory Logon" in the "Add/Update Server" form found through "Manage Servers".
I have added two entries in the "Manage Servers" form, one for AD logon and one for the local admin.
Add your AD Group in the "User Permissions" form to control who, of your AD users, that should be admins etc.
That did it.

Thanks to VisualCron for support.
