Since Friday, one of our users is no longer able to login to the visualcron server via the client software on this laptop. This had been working fine for years. We also tried upgrading the client with no effect. Login locally on the server works fine. We tried both AD and local authentication. He immediately get the following error when trying to connect. "Connection failed to Connection failed with error: 'An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host' Do you want to try reconnecting?" We tried using both server name and IP and both failed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That type of error is normally a firewall or the service is not running. Try to telnet to the VisualCron host:

telnet ip 16444
