I just upgraded my VisualCron installation from 4.x (not sure) to 5.1.0. I have tasks that execute SSIS packages, and when they run they return this message in the standard error:

Unhandled exception in Task: The object's type must be __ComObject or derived from __ComObject. Parameter name: o

This appears to be a .Net error coming from VisualCron. I do not have receive any errors when I run the SSIS package directly. The error is returned after the SSIS package has finished running.

Any ideas?

Please test version 5.1.6. There was a problem with dll compatibility between MSSQL 2005 and 2008
