After upgrading we also experience issues with the danish letter æ, ø, å.

Apparently the charset support has been degraded during the upgrade. Can you confirm this bug?

We tested this with success against another server. What charsets do you have on client and one server?

We are downloading from a regular Win2003 Std SP2 FTP server.

Again, when we are downloading using 4.90.40 everything works fine, but with ver 5 it translates æ,ø,å to funny-chars.

I have send an e-mail with log files.

Best regards,
René

Please test this version. Change to Windows-1252 or similar: http://www.visualcron.co...m.aspx?g=posts&t=715

I updated and changed the tasks, and it appears to be the fix I was hoping for :)

Also, thanks on finding a solution for th mainframe FTP (MVS)

I haven't been able to fully test today, but it will be tested over the following days. If I experience anything problematic, I'll return 🙂
